    Construction Equipment Mechanic
    Location: Carol Stream, IL

    Immediate opening for full time Construction Equipment Mechanic.
    Responsibilities will include the maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on a variety of customer equipment, primarily Ditch Witch underground construction equipment both in the shop and on customer job sites. You will be responsible for service documentation, ordering parts as necessary through the Parts Department, maintaining assigned service trucks, and travelling to customer sites.

    The ideal candidate will have knowledge of heavy equipment systems, an understanding of safe job practices for repairing equipment and must have a CDL (class A, airbrakes, combination and tanker endorsement) or be able to obtain a Commercial Driver’s License.


    Shop Manager
    Location: Carol Stream, IL

    Immediate opening for full time Shop Manager.
    Responsible for efficiently managing and directing all aspects of the shop operations in order to insure the maximum level of efficiency for Ditch Witch Midwest. Coordinates activities with other departments of the business to best serve the needs of the customer. Essential responsibilities will include: Assisting with machine diagnosis and troubleshooting, developing and managing shop technicians, ensuring quality of shop work, monitoring technician performance and maintain shop and yard organization and cleanliness.

    The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience in related field and have a mechanical and supervisor background.


    Service Manager
    Location: Kaukauna, WI

    Immediate opening for full time Service Manager.
    Responsibilities will include to manage and direct all aspects of the Service Department operations which insures customer satisfaction and maximum efficiency for the business. Coordinate activities and cooperation with other departments of the business to best serve the needs of the customer. Maintain and document safety notices on customer owned equipment. Stay current on all manufacturer updates and competitive equipment. Responsible for insuring OSHA standards and company safety policies are complied with at all times. Update and teach Service Technicians as well as be willing to assist Service Technicians when needed. Oversee the charges for all service tickets, including: customer, internal and warranty work in a timely manner. You will be responsible for service documentation, ordering parts as necessary through the Parts Department, maintaining service trucks, and travelling to customer sites.

    To be qualified, all applicants should have a minimum of three years of experience in related field. Prefer mechanical and supervisor background. Ability to understand and follow instructions in English. Lift up to 50 pounds. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with ERP & CRM systems. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
