Founded in 1970, Ditch Witch Midwest has expanded to 5 locations across 3 states serving more than 150 counties. We are searching for hardworking, reliable and knowledgeable sales representatives to perform outside sales activities in the construction equipment market. You will be asked to sell the company’s parts, labor, whole goods and services in our Central Indiana region. We offer a competitive salary and benefit package.
Responsibilities will include sourcing and developing client relationships and referrals. Develop and maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls, presentations, follow-up, and closed sales. Develop & maintain contact with all customers in the market area to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and market penetration. Maintain company supplied vehicle, electronic devices and other property assigned. Study and stay current on all new & existing products, specifications, bulletins and catalogs & literature of our manufacturers. Monitor the sales, prices and products of competitors. Promote all service contracts and extended warranty programs. Cross sell our complete line of company’s products and services. Attend trade shows, sales meetings and any conferences as required. Some overnight travel will be required. Provide to customer demonstration and training of all equipment.
To be qualified, all applicants should have a minimum of three years of experience in related field. Prefer mechanical and supervisor background. Ability to understand and follow instructions in English. Lift up to 50 pounds. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with ERP & CRM systems. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Construction Equipment Mechanic
Location: West Chicago, IL * Brownsburg, IN * Kaukauna, WI * Waukesha, WI
Immediate opening for full time Construction Equipment Mechanic.
Responsibilities will include the maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on a variety of customer equipment, primarily Ditch Witch underground construction equipment both in the shop and on customer job sites. You will be responsible for service documentation, ordering parts as necessary through the Parts Department, maintaining assigned service trucks, and travelling to customer sites.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of heavy equipment systems, an understanding of safe job practices for repairing equipment and must have a CDL (class A, airbrakes, combination and tanker endorsement) or be able to obtain a Commercial Driver’s License.

1st Choice Equipment, an affiliate of Ditch Witch Midwest, is looking for an experienced Business Development Representative to join our growing team. We are the Kubota, Gehl & Mustang equipment dealer representing the Midwest region. The Business Development Representative will help grow the business by identifying, developing and securing new business opportunities by generating leads and sales, maintaining customer relationships and coordinating promotional activities for all locations. Essential functions will include: conduct market research to identify and qualify new business opportunities. Provide customers with initial product information and direct them to appropriate sales representative. Track requests for proposals. Establish and maintain effective relationships with prospects/customers via phone, email or social media.
To be qualified, all applicants should have a minimum of two years experience of relevant work in sales, business development, marketing, account management & telemarketing. Strong drive, proactive mindset and solution-oriented attitude. Excellent organizational skills, follow through and attention to details. Strong interpersonal skills (verbal and written), networking skills and high standard of professionalism. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams with a high degree of flexibility.
