Outside Sales Representative - West Chicago, Illinois

Construction Equipment Mechanic - West Chicago, Illinois

Immediate opening for full time Construction Equipment Mechanic. Responsibilities will include the maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on a variety of customer equipment, primarily Ditch Witch underground construction equipment both in the shop and on customer job sites. You will be responsible for service documentation, ordering parts as necessary through the Parts Department, maintaining assigned service trucks, and travelling to customer sites. The ideal candidate will:

  • Experienced applicants should have a technical or associates degree and 5 to 7 years of industry experience. Entry level applicants should have a technical degree. 
  • Must have strong basic computer skills and the ability to operate various software programs.
  • Display a great ability to communicate with customers, vendors, and co-workers.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work in order to meet deadlines and exceed customer’s expectations.
  • Must be able to read and understand electrical/hydraulic systems and schematics; and utilize them to diagnose and repair equipment.

Parts Representative - Waukesha, Wisconsin

Efficiently serve customers in a courteous & cordial manner and solicit additional sales, which insure customer satisfaction and maximum efficiency for the business. Coordinate activities and cooperate with other departments of the business to best serve the needs of the customer (external and internal). Sell the company parts, labor and whole goods service at all times.

Essential Functions:

  • Handle customer phone calls and walk in traffic relating to parts sales, inquires and technical assistance.  
  • Assist customers by properly identifying needed items by using manufacturer/vendor parts catalogs or computer business system.
  • Fill customer orders, price items and print sales tickets. Handle payment arrangements at time of sale for any non-credit accounts via cash, check or credit card.  
  • Ensure that the customer, technician or salesman receives the correct part and on time, as promised.
  • Ensure high quality level of service provided to both outside customers and internal customers.
  • Study and stay current on new products, bulletins and catalogs.

Service Administrator - Kaukauna, Wisconsin

Work with the Service Manager on day-to-day operations of the service department. Assist with job scheduling, customer communication, and inventory tracking and flow. The Service Administrator will provide the highest level of communication to all involved parties including customers, service managers, technicians, and sales teams. Work closely with the Service Managers to ensure all processes in the Service Departments are as efficient as possible.

Essential Functions:

  • Accurately transfer customer service needs to the work order by professionally greeting, listening to, and communicating with the customer. 
  • Create and communicate repair quotes as requested.
  • Effectively keep the customer informed and updated on their repair status via all technology.
  • Service work follow-up calls. Communicate complaints to Service Manager.
  • Conduct campaign calls to set up appointments for Service Manager to call and schedule, tracking for CMW, Mustang and Kubota.
  • Contact customers for promotional calls-Spring, Winter.
  • Assist in filing and all other aspects of warranty claims (back-up for current admin) Gather pictures, hours, warranty parts and other details as requested.
  • Stay current on product information, recalls, service bulletins, repair schedules and warranty guidelines.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Customer Service, 1 year (Preferred) 
  • Previous warranty administration experience a plus.

Warehouse & Facalities Coordinator  - West Chicago, Illinois

Description

Purpose: Help maintain the orderly storage of inventory, rental and customer equipment. Help maintain the professional appearance of the facility, grounds and equipment. 

Essential Functions:
Inventory

  • Unload/check in factory truckloads. Verify accuracy by comparing the Bill of Lading to the order & ensure all inventory received is in excellent condition. 
  • Organize equipment in the yard (new/rental and demo)
  • Organize 1st Choice items in the warehouse
  • Help locate items for Kubota audits
  • Keep warehouse in order from a serial number and tidiness perspective 
  • Keep trailer stock in order and organized by serial number as new units come in
  • Unload LTL loads if parts representatives are busy (blue diamond, utilibond, cetco, stock orders, etc)
  • Put away stock orders if we are short on parts personnel.
  • Start inventory list for shop tools.

Facilities Maintenance

  • Clean and organize the shop
  • Take out trash and scrap metal.
  • Sweep and wash shop floors.
  • Police the yard and fence line for weeds and garbage
  • Mow demo area and the adjacent property
  • Keep walkways clear of snow and ice during business hours in the winter
  • Point person to escort the inspectors around that come in for routine building visits (fire inspection, alarm inspection, etc)

Equipment Readiness

  • Help keep equipment line neat and tidy.
  • Clean demo/sales rental equipment (if sales or drill specialist is not available)
  • Wax equipment with fiberglass components
  • Keep equipment in the showroom clean, clean new equipment coming into the showroom
  • Prep for rental / demo of equipment (i.e. installing or changing out of a bucket or attachment)
  • Help our truck driver load for the next day (i.e. get the items pulled and ready to load)
  • Ensure daily rental readiness of equipment through visual inspection and planned preventative maintenance to ensure operational safety.

Miscellaneous

  • Assist with restocking of copier paper
  • Transfer of file boxes to and from file area to storage area
