Gas-Powered With More Power.

With the HX40G’s gas-powered, 40-hp (30-kW) Vanguard® engine and 1,000-cfm (28.3-m3/min) blower, you can handle every cleanup, excavation and underground construction task better than ever before.

Features may include:

MORE POWER
  • Powered by a 40-hp (30-kW) Vanguard® engine, the HX40G is equipped with an efficient 1000-cfm (28.3-m3/min) blower and a powerful water system with water-pressure capacity of 3,000 psi (207 bar) and 4.2-gpm (15.9-L/min) flow. Optional reverse flow feature allows quick and easy spoils offload for improved productivity.
LOW UPFRONT COST
  • The rugged Briggs & Stratton Vanguard engine gives you all the power and suction you need from a vacuum excavator-and it does it with gas, making its upfront cost lower than a standard diesel engine and saving you money.
LOW-PROFILE DESIGN
  • The HX40G's reduced height leads to easier maneuverability and an advanced door linkage automates lockout without requiring additional effort from the operator. Additionally, an exclusive hose storage design allows operators to keep the hose flat and straight inside the unit frame for easier storage and improved productivity.
ENHANCED VERSATILITY
  • Offered with an 800-gal (3028 L) or a 500-gal (1893 L) debris tank, allowing for the flexibility of mounting the unit on a VT10 trailer, eliminating the need for a CDL and increasing production and ease of transportation.
